Which tank is it for? The Medium box fits planted tanks, community tanks, and everyday aquascapes where you want one or two main trees and a few supporting pieces. With 8+ trees, you get enough variety to try different layouts. You can also split the box between a display tank and a smaller betta or shrimp tank. For a bigger tank or several scapes, compare the Large box or the 2x Medium bundle. For one nano or betta tank, the Small box may be enough.

Natural driftwood may release tannins. We recommend rinsing, soaking, or boiling when possible before adding driftwood to an aquarium, using clean water only (no soap, bleach, or chemicals). See our preparation guide for details.
Yes, once the wood is prepared. Driftwood is common in betta and shrimp tanks. Smooth any sharp tips that could snag betta fins, and add new wood to an established tank, since shrimp are sensitive to water changes.
Orders ship once per week, every Wednesday from Texas. If you place your order before Wednesday's shipping cutoff, your box ships that Wednesday. Orders placed after the cutoff ship the following Wednesday. Shipping is $12.99 to the Lower 48 US states + DC.
